Clients will be held responsible and accountable for any activity by third parties using their account. You are responsible for any misuse of your account, even if the inappropriate activity was committed by a friend, family member, guest or employee. Therefore, you must take steps to ensure that others do not gain unauthorized access to your account.

Resource Usage
Each account is given a clearly defined amount of resources including disk space and data transfer. When an account uses more resources than has been allocated, the account will be temporarily suspended. If the resource abuse is excessive, Lorenz Technologies reserves the right to deactivate the account pending client cooperation and resolution.

Any account that affects the normal operation of any of the services provided by Lorenz Technologies including, but not limited to, administrative tasks, MySQL Services, server access, network speed, content or email delivery, may be deactivated without notice in an effort to restore normal operations.

In the event of account deactivation, Lorenz Technologies remains the final authority in determining whether or not the account will be reactivated. The severity of the violation, as well as the account holder's cooperation and ability to prevent future violations, will be considered when determining whether or not the account will be reactivated.

Free Web Hosting Accounts
Lorenz Technologies has the right to refuse free web space at their own discretion. Even though it is free you must put on the application why you are requesting this web space because Lorenz Technologies has a rigorous approval process each account goes through before it is allowed on the server. If the application is approved you will get an email with your account details within 48 hours. We try to contact everyone who has been denied for an account with a specific reason for denial, however If you do not receive an email or a denial letter you have not been approved. The decision of Lorenz Technologies is final and can not be negotiated.

While we will attempt to accommodate and provide you web hosting for an unlimited period time, our paying customers come 1st. If there is a time which space is required for a paying customer, Lorenz Technologies, at its own discretion, has the right to delete your account. This will be done on a case by case basis and seniority and/or account usage will be taken into consideration before deletion occurs. Lorenz Technologies will try to contact you 48 hours before your account is terminated, however we reserve the right to delete without contacting you if the need arises.

While we DO allow hotlinking of graphics, we require that a functional website is established for every account within 24 hours of being accepted which must remain intact for the entire time you have an account with Lorenz Technologies.

If files are not uploaded within 3 days of being approved you agree that we have the right to terminate your account for non-activity.

Your account must utilize at least 10% of its allowed bandwidth per month. If it does not meet this requirement, Lorenz Technologies has the right to suspend or terminate service.

At this time Lorenz Technologies' free accounts do not have any type of advertising, however if advertising is established in the future then all accounts established as of September 13, 2004 must put in place the necessary code somewhere on each webpage. If the user refuses to comply within 24 hours of being notified to add the ad code then the account will be subject to suspension and/or deletion.

All Information on the request form must be correct, if Lorenz Technologies deems the information provided on the form is incorrect by viewing it, an account will not be established.

We only allow 1 account per user. If we find you are utilizing more then one account Lorenz Technologies has the right to terminate all of your accounts.

Forums / Message boards
Lorenz Technologies does not stop you from installing and maintaining a message board or forum package on our servers, however we WILL NOT install one for you automatically and all licensing agreements of that message board must be followed.

Special Note for Invision Power Board users: IPS requires you to purchases a license if you are going to use their software on a permanent basis. Due to this, if you choose to install an Invision Power Board and use it in a production (non testing) environment, please purchases a license. If you do not, Lorenz Technologies has the right to suspend or terminate your account if we find an account utilizing the software illegally or we are contacted by Invision Power Services about your services.

Backups of Data
Lorenz Technologies does not perform back-ups of your account's data. Each cPanel has the option to perform back-ups. It is the owners responsibility to back-up their own data and if data loss does occur, through an error on our part, on the part of our web hosting provider, the account holder or an authorized representative, Lorenz Technologies will not and can not be held responsible.

Payments and Billing
You are expected to make your payment on or before the due date. If you do not pay by this time we will suspend your account until you pay or email us saying that you would like to cancel. If we do not hear from you within 14 days we will terminate your account completely.

The only acceptable means of payment are by Paypal, Personal check, bank draft, or Money Order. Cash will never be accepted as payment, unless it is authorized by Lorenz Technologies.

Cancellation and Refunds
Our web hosting packages carry a 30-day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our services, simply send a request to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for a refund. Please include your domain name, user-name, password, and reason for requesting this refund. We do not tolerate 'Host Jumpers' who move from host to host monthly, requesting money back guarantee refunds. If you are found to be hosting with us for this purpose, the 30-day money back guarantee is void. Requests for a refund after 30 days of your account will be denied regardless of the billing terms you requested (monthly, quarterly, yearly) or the payment we have received. Domain registration fees are also non-refundable. Accounts that have been suspended or terminated due to violation of our terms and conditions are not eligible for refunds.
